Coming over from DP, AKA budfan8 but since Junior changed teams and #s that had to go. I joined DD to keep up with the Jones, but mostly to follow the Tech info. I must admit I have read all the latest threads and post about what is going on over at the place, which until recently was my home page, it has made for some entertaining reading. I just can't believe what all has happened since March when I started this deployment

I spend most of my off time researching info about the great Duramax diesel and 2500HD. I now belong to about 4 different forums just trying to keep up. If my wife only knew how much time I spend on forums like this, she would think that I was crazy.

I'm on my second deployment in 4 years, standing watch in Kosovo as I type this. Going on 29 years in the Illinois Army National Guard!!

I was there in 99. KFOR Rotation 1 Alpha. That tour wasnt much fun...Nor were the ones in Bosnia before that.

WELCOME!!!!!!!

I can tell you that being deployed and not able to drive and tinker on the truck is heart breaking. It's also is a big help in pushing thru the mess we call life in the military.My truck sat under a cheap tarp car port for a year while I was in Iraq. I had my wife take some pics of it for me to keep me going. Thank you for your service!!!!!! I will drink one for ya on Christmas and wish I was there with ya'.

Not much has changed here in 10 years best I can tell. This country is a mess with trash every where and half finished houses.

Its now KFOR 10, and I would rather be back in Iraq!! Friggin KBR runs the Camp, I mean everything is contracted. I don't like talkn politics, but the E.U. should be doing this mission, we have bigger and better things to do!! Rant Over.
