Yes that's the one. I appreiciate your help.
Black wasn't my first choice either. I watch the weather forecasts closer for sure.

Use two buckets and rinse the sponge/micro fibre cloth every panel to reduce swirls. I use a sponge down to character line then cloth below that and a third for rocker panels/inner fenders. You MUST wash it in the shade and don't bother washing unless your going to dry it. Take the nozzle off to final rinse and clear most water spots. I spritz on some mequires 'quick detailer' while micro fiber drying.

Oh ya, NICE TRUCK :thumb:

Thanks for the washing tips. The truck actually already has quite a few swirls on it. That's the only thing I was a little upset about. I bet half the marks came when the dealer washed it.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Nice truck Dave I am way jealous , I would kill to have a new Denali to tow the race truck around , congrats Dave !!!
We just have to keep dreaming...Im still on the race truck dream I havnt graduated to the having a truck to tow the race truck dream yet.
She was thinking how weird I am taking her pic reflected in the door, note the door handle upper right. Not the best pic :spit:

Gotcha:thumb: Upon closer inspection I can see how shiny that is. Thats gotta take lots of elbow grease... Im happy with my white truck, it hides lots. :thumb:

There is a 1500 denali on a local lot here and the sale price sticker in the window is $55,000....I dont even want to imagine what they would want for a denali HD.

My new one is black also Dave, I purchased with 200 miles on it and it had quite a bit also, its said when the dealer can't take care of a car.

I used some nice black wax and it brought it out mostly, this is my first black truck and I must say I do like it.

I paid 3k less then that for mine, that's the only reason I bought a black truck. I would have paid more money for a white one. Nothing nicer then a black truck just not sure I like the all of the extra work.

I used a cleaner wax and then a good Meguirs top coat wax today, the truck looks alot better. Black does look awsome when new and clean. Just not sure how the painted bumpers will stand up buttime will tell. I'm more of a chrome man.

Thanks guys for the comments. I took the family out in it today and I'm very happy with how smooth the truck is. I really havn't put my foot into it yet, but it does seem to get up and go. I've never had sat radio before and I think I like that the most. That and the bluetooth hands free is very cool.
