I've been told motor ops tuning is the way to go with an lml. Do they have a dsp5 switch for the lml's now? I thought I remember reading about it somewhere. I am totally unfamiliar with them

I had GM do an oil consumption test, it was at the very high end but was considered ok. I traded for a couple of reasons but this was one of them. I have heard of it being whispered among other deleted LML owners, I have even seen "Frogman" post on here about his low oil light going off. My dealer basically told me to change my oil every 4K and not worry about it...

I have been watching my 16's consumption and it uses zero oil and it already has 11k on it...

Hmm gotcha. Only reason I ask is when I bought my truck it was down I believe roughly 2 quarts but not 100% sure. Low oil light never came on and I immediately did an oil change after buying it. Was wondering if my now truck is using oil but it also is not deleted... Yet...

Is Motorops = Nick/Duramaxtuner?

That's word of the grapevine.. just "not them"

Now I am really lost... I must of been gone for to long...

Deleting them is not what is causing oil consumption.

My 11 doesn't use a drop I think this whole deleting them makes them use oil is a joke. Another note I did a fass and tuning to it. I then got worried about the cp4 An swapped it in

As far as I know Motorops is no way affiliated with Duramaxtuner.

Haha, not true at all. When my 15 was having problems with the tuning I got upset with Steve and called Bob directly at DT and from there forward if I needed updates or had questions. The tuning is great! Best I've personally run on any truck. Power was instant and dead pedal was gone, I would go with them again, but I will have Tony tune my 16 if it ever happened...

I'm 99% sure he was being clever with his wording. There's a reason there is 2 different companies........ Some things are best left unsaid....
