Defueling lly please help

I have done a little tuning and have had to replace the valve to stop it from opening. The shim idea has not been a good fix for me yet. Don't try it anymore tho as replacing WORKS

There are more potential problems with the shim kit. The shim kit is a few dollars less than a race valve, but you have a lot more time involved. If you want the protection buy the LBZ valve and sleep tight.

I am not sure now. I went to the track for test and tune today and of course the tranny was slipping but the truck would shut down about 100-200 foot from the end. Not sure if it was tranny or fuel. The tranny was slipping and I had codesp0103,P0700,P2138,P2140 ON 5 of the runs. It would run but slowly until I got the time slip and stopped and erased the codes wit CTS. I still had a great time and ran good.
