No fix. As you can see in the thread it's somewhat random...

I would feel better if a crank broke rather than a piston, then I know I could do nothing about it.

But I was reading the other day in a book, every time the rpm is doubled, stress on the crank is multiplied by 4.

wouldnt cylinder pressure have factor into that as well?

Well figured I'll give an update on this since im bored at work.

Been running the Fluidampr since the beginning of Sept, and I can say I have seen zero negative effects. I have almost zero "shake" at shutdown that I used to have. Have used the truck for everything from 10 hour straight highway trips to 5 mile commutes to work in the city.

as a matter of fact, its working so well, i forget i even have it.

So i was on here digging through my old posts looking for info an stumbled on this.

just wanted to report that after 4 years and 30k miles my fluidampr balancer hasn't done any harm to my crankshaft.

dont put nearly as many miles on as I used to but still driving the truck everyday.

Still running that s400 setup from blackout? Good to know on the longevity of the fluidamper. May have to look into this sometime

good to hear on the FD. I've been running mine for a while now; I pinned it with the kit from Empire too. :thumb:
