Got a call yesterday, someone took my company semi on a 6.5 mile joy ride Sunday morning and had enough skill not to side swipe anything.. then left it in the middle of the road in a center turn lane section
Did they destroy anything in the truck?
Someone tried stealing the ‘02 last Thursday at the mall. Came out to a punched door lock and a twisted ignition. Looks like the kill switch saved the day. Luckily they didn’t screw the ignition up too bad as I was able to turn it still. I was even able to put the ring back on and use the thumb turns and have been driving the truck without keys since lol. I put a plug in the door lock hole. Luckily they didn’t destroy the interior or even take anything.

Funny story, Sunday I took the wifey to Harbor Freight to do some shopping. As we are trying to leave, the ignition got sticky and I started fucking with it and the cylinder locked up. Couldn’t turn it any more. I had to go buy some pliers so I could steal my own truck 🤣🤣🤣.

Nope, gues someone at work unlocked the truck to move it and left the spare key in it.

Kinda glad semi is an auto, they really could have effed it up if it was a manual

That’s pretty wild. We see that a lot in the construction industry. Most of the keys are universal so it’s not uncommon to have people mess with machines. What’s worse is now they’re going to almost push button start on everything so we’ve had a lot of kids take the machines too. For whatever reason, I can’t get them to put security codes on the keypads.

My cousin has downs, one of the requirements for their car was no push button start for how easy it would be to start it

Merry Christmas y'all! Just paid $2.699/gallon for diesel (lowest I've paid in years) and am heading to the family farm. I do love this S&B tank, as I'll be able to go there and back home after Christmas without stopping for fuel again

Well, I'm trying to be positive here but tomorrow is going to be a sad day for me. My 91 year old mother died a week and half ago. She was the matriarch of the family and a good mom to me and my siblings. She was in pretty good health but took a really bad fall 3 weeks ago and just never recovered. She still has an older sister that is 96 but the damn Alzheimer's has started on her. I hope everyone has a great Christmas and remember to love and be nice to each other.🥰

One of my biggest gripe about ECSB setup 26gl OEM tanks S&B makes a 36 for it for $1000.00
Probably rework spare tire mount and stick a 30-40gl tank there unless I go in bed setup

I hear you. Went to a funeral service last weekend for an older relative that didn't recover after a fall. My grandmother is believed to have fallen right before she went too. Falls are very hard on the elderly and probably one of the hardest ways for them to go. My condolences to you

Yeah, the S&B is anything but affordable, but I'm very impressed with the design and build quality, at least for the CCSB version. I picked up their CCLB version and it doesn't have as good of baffling, but still seems nice at first glance. Time will tell though.
