Brought 5 totes and the tree upstairs a few days ago. Christmas then exploded inside our home this weekend.

We also got 3" of snow, so that put the kibosh on my outdoor decorating this year. No Santa Pig in 2024.

What is everyone's plans for Christmas? Anybody have anything going on?
I got two weeks off and no where to go. My folks are getting divorced and it’s gotten ugly, so I won’t be seeing them this year again. Well, we’ll see I guess maybe they will grow up in the next few weeks. Doesn’t matter much to me. I got some good friends and a little family close.

We did end up losing one of our really good friends. Apparently they don’t like our parenting, because our little girl told their little girl that they could be girlfriends and in a separate conversation weeks later that girls could get married. Our girls are eight years old and they didn’t want to have that conversation with their daughter until she’s older. Yet they literally watched cartoons at their house that have bisexual relationships and marriages in them… I’m sorry your kids can’t put two and two together, but when my daughter spells it out for them. We’re the bad parents. Honestly, I saw it coming at some point in time. They’re good friends because they understand our special-needs son and they’re good people. Developmentally our daughters way past their kids. I didn’t see the girls friendship lasting much into their teens when interests really change. OK rant over.

I am sorry to hear that. I know what that is like. Wife's parents just separated after we got married in may. They stayed together until we got married and her mom moved out to an apartment not to long ago. Not fun

My wife and I however went to a bare knuckle boxing fight 2 weeks ago. If anyone ever gets a chance to go I suggest it.

Quite honestly, I don’t care a whole lot other than holidays. This is my mom‘s third divorce. She has a pretty substantial set of issues due to crappy childhood and poor health. My stepdad‘s amazing though other then at staying in touch.

We might have to at some point in time. My daughter does competes in taekwondo. It’s usually semi tame, but it can get violent. Fun to watch those good fights when they ain’t just playing the game. I know a couple guys that do or did MMA and Boxing.

It was $100 bucks a person, roughly 10 fights. And WILD. I don't know why someone would want to do it, but we sure enjoy watching it lol. My wife just got into Muay Thai, now she thinks she can kick my ass :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

After 1 year in TKD my 8 year old daughter is a hand full she is so fast. When she does her speed kick drill I think she’s doing something like 20 kicks 10 seconds. If I didn’t have so much strength and size on her, she would easily kick my ass.
