So i have an odd situation... First of all I sold out and traded my Dmax in and bought a cummins...(flame suit on)

However I told the dealership everything that had been done to the truck in way of modifications, well I just looked at the ad they posted selling my old truck and it is completely incorrect, I did play nice when they called me and had a kid looking at my truck I told him the correct parts on the truck but should I call them and try and straighten it out or just let them leave it listed as is? I mean it is not my fault he didn't listen when I was explaining everything twice now...

And I will say this I wish there was a dodge site as great as this site, all the members here have helped when I was building my dmax and 85% of the dodge boys just want to blow smoke and all their forums are just not as good. So thank you especially Mcrat for having a fantastic site!

I would probably tell them they have it wrong you dont want it coming back on you because they will say you gave them that info.

I have to ask after having the d max Why would you go to the Dodge??????:(

something new and different, i like the looks of them and found the truck i was looking for, plus building my truck anymore would have cost me a lot of money and still have a truck with close to 200K on it. i have a short attention span lol. i will most likely look for another Dmax to build some time soon just trying other things out.

I wouldn't even bother, its there sale not yours. Unless they want to pay you to sell it.

Its their job to what is in the vehicle and how to sell it.

So what are they saying is done to it vs whats really done?

the truck has efi live they say banks 6 gun with a 5 position switch...

i fabbed stainless steel traction bars they say it has stainless steel torsion bars..

a few other things with it are wrong, i dont know where he got the banks idea i never said anything about it. I think i am going to just let it go maybe wait a few months let the funds replenish and go see if he wants me to buy it back for less then what he gave me for it :roflmao:

Thats what I would do also. Why even get involved at this point. I don't see how it would come back to you. If in some way a buyer came asking you after the sale then you could if you decide tell him what exactly is on the truck.

What type of dealer is it used car or a Dodge dealership? They probably don't know what EFI is but know what Banks is.Anyone can tell the difference between Torsion bars and traction bars I would think.

is it a wedsite that says this? or whats actually posted on the truck sticker in the window?

most dealers use a third party to update and run their website. the guys that run them move as fast as they can when typing those descriptions and what not up so they can move to the next one. its kinda the same thing as if you told one person a simple sentence and made it pass from one person to another 6-8 times and then have that last person repeat the sentence back to you. its never the same and things become squewed.

wouldnt even worry about it. it will never be 100% right even if you watched them re-write it down to send off ;)

Nothing to worry about bud. Their issue if they misrepresent in the add. I think it would cause you too much headache if you were just trying to look out for the next buyer.

So you have become the salesperson? So a guy wants info on the truck for sale the dealership gives them your name and number potential purchaser calls you ,you give the hard sell how great a truck it is and get no commission?

WOW! Did you screw up telling them you'd assist! You should just write up a detailed list and drop it off and tell them forget your number as it wont end till it is sold plus you'll have the potential buyer bugging you to death every time the truck does something weird. Think about it

The dealership called me, not the buyers, no numbers have been exchanged to the potential buyers, however i hear what you are saying i think next time it will be a pound sand and hang up type of phone call.
