Dead teen sued by woman hit by his flying body parts

She might not have anything to do with it. It could be her insurance company.
My 3yr old son went to the er after he fell down the stairs and hit his head. The insurance company sent me 3 questionairs triing to blame someone else so they didn't have to pay! It's such B.S! I pay insurance for him every paycheck so he is covered if somthing happens. It should be you have insurance, something happens, they pay, it's done! Insurance is just legalized fraud! Rant over!

I totally agree,i read a story 1 time about a 6 yr old boy sueing his parents because they were at home lighting fireworks and 1 went off in the boys hand and he had to go to the er.Now you know dam well the parents contacted the lawyer and even drove him there and im sure we know who was going to get the money.
A. you can't drive without it.
B. I said that because you pay for it every month, then when you need it they do everything they can to not pay, or pay as little as possible. I pay insurance for my son, when he goes to the hospital it should be covered! First they didn't pay then, then when they did they wanted to make someone pay them back! It's BS!
I had a chisel from an air hammer break and go through my eye, I was not wearing safety glasses (even though it is stamped on the chisel "do not operate without eye protection") that was over two years ago and insurance just recently paid the bill because they have been trying to sue Mac Tools for the accident. The adjuster also told me that no one has to know i was not wear eye protection. What the hell did it just swing around the glasses and into my eye. I know it was my fault but still it's B.S!
I'm the last dude that would be out suing for no reason. However, this is easy to play advocate...
Why should she be stuck with expensive medical bills, temporary loss of income, possible loss of job entirely, possible life-long pain issues, etc. that she wouldn't otherwise have if this teen hadn't of made his mistake? Shouldn't she be entitled for at least a little compensation for real damages to her?
I think the suits for lofty compensation for "emotional damages" is stupid and selfish though.

No idea... guessing zilch unless his parents had an insurance policy on him or he was some sort of rich kid for some reason.
My family runs an auction firm and ag equipment dealership in central Illinois, mostly auction ag equipment. We do have household sales aswell, we had 3 old lasts fall last year, our insurance paid out $250,000 all together. Completely the persons that fell fault, we are still liable.
