So just a little rant even though I no longer own a duramax just figured I've give a heads up. So bought some h10 6000k 35w hids over a month ago off their website. Well after waiting over a month to receive them I installed them correctly cause they worked this past Monday and well low and behold one blew today. So not even 4 full days. Well tried to see what the procedure would be to get new ones. Well mind I paid 60 some already if not more on them with shipping and they want me to pay an additional 20 bucks per shipping and also they dont know when they could send anymore out. So just another awesome experience. Looks like I'll be spending a little more again for reputable products.

Yea ddm sucks.

plenty of us based companies that have way better products for way cheaper. I buy my hid bulbs from a company on ebay. $10 shipped for whatever type and color you want. I've been using them for 3 years and have yet to have one of there bulbs die on me.

Really? I have had SEVERAL sets thru ddm tuning between different colors and build sizes and never had an issue... Only problem I have ever had is the little extra time it takes to get them...

yeah i tried calling and the first thing they said was well did you read our disclaimer??? And i said no why is there something different other then your product doesnt work and i need it replaced?? Its only been in the truck 4 days???? they said well sorry its used and we dont know when we would be able to send out another bulb to you and it would also cost you an additional 20 dollars to for shipment of the bulbs to you i was like are your freaking serious???? I was actually quite suprised at the amount they charged for shipping as well, they ran almost 25 dollars for shipping??? Just all around crappy customer service.

I understand you cant win everytime you buy something but if you cant back it up then its time to spend money somewhere else

same here, no issues with mine.

I think were about to have a problem though. I ordered all HID lights for my fiance as a birthday present, her birthday is december 31st. I called DDM first and said specifically i NEED these by the 31st, the guy said sure so i ordered on the 11th. 7-10 business days i was told theyd be here. Well, they are not here yet. Called today and talked to a lady because tracking info hasnt been updated since the 16th but got emails saying they shipped on the 16th. i was told she would look into the tracking and call me back....about 5 hours ago.

Not all bulbs are created equal. I pay more for mine and get a warranty if I need it.

Also a retrofit is the only way to go.

Edit:

I've used DDM in the past For Cree LEDs and was let down.

I've installed probably 15-20 DDM kits. The ones I still have contact with are still running strong. Had one bulb issue after about 6 months and one high/low harness issue straight from the package but their customer service was always so good I was actually surprised. Both the bulb and harness replacement I received in less than a week, and shipping never seemed unreasonably high that I can remember.

Must just have really spotty service and it depends who picks up the phone.

I run two three retro solutions kits. They aren't bullet proof, but so far so good. I added a relay to combat the low voltage start ups, and I need to add some noise filters as the fog lights flicker a little and interfere slightly with the radio when I flip to a station that is weak.

ddm sucks. I bought a set for my gfs ram by bulb not vehicle and put them in and they worked fine... when the truck was off. they flickered and buzzed when the truck was running. after 2 weeks I finally got a response that I needed a cap OR a resistor and they werent sure which one or if either would fix the problem. when the resistor failed to fix the problem I wired in a cap and by this time the relay for the harness went bad... I could not get a response from them to replace the relay, or the harness. so that kit is sitting in a pile doing nothing for over a year. and the ones in my truck work when they want to. most lights are back to regular bulbs now

I had a bulb burn out after a few years. They told me to send it in and they will send out a new one no problem. I never got around to it but they seemed willing to help no problem.

going to send you a pm about the relay, I'm interested.
