Got a 2014 2500HD. Driving into the sun, I can't see any gauges on my dash. Seems there is no factory way to brighten it. Does anyone know of an LED light kit that will shine on the dash pod?

Best Idea! Got 35 on the shield with 8 inch banner, 5 over 20 on the front windows and then 5 over 5 on all 3 back windows on top fo the factory tint. Its night and day difference. So nice to be able to drive facing the sun without even squinting.

Not as bad as you would think honestly. Out the back you cant see a thing but the shield tint isn't very noticeable in my opinion. Side windows aren't horrible either. I guess it really depends on the person. Doesnt effect me much and have towed many times in the night. It did take a little getting used to but thanks to the handy lights GM put on the mirrors backing up is a breeze even with the windows up.

Holy crikey that is dark. 35% on the shield ain't bad at all though.
