I'm pretty sure an LBZ when setup right will go into the elevens with stock turbo, and CP3. Just need the right test mule. There was a RC/SB 2wd truck that went low 12's last year on just tuning, but the truck was burned up in a shop fire.

I'll admit, I'm very tempted to stick a stock engine in Casper and see what we can run nowadays with it. It's pretty heavy now (6400 empty) due to the rollcage and fire stuff, but it's always done well at the track, 12.83? back in 2005 before there were even aftermarket chargers or CP3's for VNT trucks. It dyno'd 475 back then.

Our EC/SB 4x4 SLT weighed 6420 when born. It's 2wd brother weighed 6080lb. That is as-delivered weight with 1/2 tank, no driver measured on a certified truck scale. Blue is a 3500srw CC/LB and was 7120 delivered. Wendy was 6860 (CC/SB)

Chris (DrHolliday) ran his LBZ again tonight and wasn't bracket racing so I got him to launch it hard. We put the BFG ATs that I normally run on it but they didn't make a difference for him and his 255-85s ran the same on mine that the BFGs have been - I cut a 1.68 on his 255s and he cut a 1.69 on the BFGs

12.42 @ 106 - does anyone know of a faster LBZ on all stock motor? There Kat now he's faster and quicker.:cool2::hug:
His mods are:
DA SC IV & T-case Brace
5" Down-pipe back Flo Pro
Air Dog 150
Shimmed FPRV
Sleeves & Straight Centerlink
Diesel Addiction engine and trans tuning
Leaf springs clamped up front.

He has a stock intake on it even.

Good times :alc:

I now have a LBZ pump, Air dog 150 and 64mm cheetah no times yet

I think I'll hit high 12.2s low 12.3s and Chris will be in the 12.3s next week with our new tire rim combos.

I agree that Henry would do better with EFI tuning, but I think much of it is his 60' times.

6860 sounds right for a CC SB, 6600 for an EC SB. Add toolboxes, 285s, all your stuff inside, you in it, ect and you easily go over 7000.

I know I could tune Chris's for more but like I said I want to keep his stock motor (and him) happy.

I'm running EFI Live now,Running 265/75/16 BFG KO's front cranked down and rear lowered almost 3", 1/4 tank of fuel and my 410lbs she's at 7060, best ever 60' has been a 1.79 on the 12.54 passes, Now on the pic in video 12.30 @ 112 was a 1.88. timing in the 32 area and still need more PW takin out since she has alot of fuel for the small 4094 turbo and the dual cp3's and 30% over injectors.

Travis - We didn't strip his like that. He still had the rear bumper and hitch all in place. We did pull his front and rear seat and tailgate though. I got a new toy - cordless impact gun - so it takes about 3 minutes to get both seats out. We don't pull a battery, tow hooks, or any of the other crazy stuff I have read about people stripping.

I only pulled my bumper and hitch the night you saw it since I had a roll pan ready to go on it. The hitch that I'm making for mine will out weigh the bumper and hitch combined and then some and this winter it'll be getting shatter sheilds and driveshaft hoops as well as weight rack brackets up front so the days of shaving weight are about over.

RIPMF - I couldn't see how well it cleared up but Chris and I barely haze enough to tell it's a diesel. You launched too hard in that one and broke loose pretty bad but even when I do that I am cutting 1.70 60' times. On my 20s I cut 1.72 60'. Have you tried a 2nd gear launch? Some trucks it works very well on and others it doesn't, just depends on the rest of the setup. And just for reference I run less timing than that in both of our trucks.

pw is 2800 timing is 31* That launch was around 2200. If I come out less my 60' is in the 1.98 area. I can never copy a screen print from efi live what gives?

Henry on your keyboard hit Print Screen it is in the upper right side... then go to Micosoft Paint... then ctrl+v or go to edit and click Paste then save the file.
