Oh and I'll be hitting the track for the first time with the new motor this Sunday finally. Just put the rancho 9000's on fixing to test those!

Extrude honed injectors. 2450us. I've upped the pulse width to 2650us and I'm hitting right around 1550-1650. I need twins! It's pretty smokey with 40psi. I upped the boost to 48-50 psi and it cleaned it up quite a bit but I'm not liking the drive pressure with that much boost. Mark said it still wasn't that bad for me having Completely stock heads.
who's 80 overs and what us? Everyone i have spoke with running 11 seconds worth of fuel was hitting 2k+ on egts. Now my 467 won't crack 1350* with even more fuel commanded....
My truck was very smokey with the 72VGT, I also have stock heads, I went to a S468 and it doesn't smoke hardly at all with the same pulse. The 72VGT is better for a 45-60 injector IMO because the turbine can't get rid of the heat. It really depends what you want to do with the truck and how you want it to drive and be efficient as well.
Did you have 100 overs with the 72vgt? You ever dyno it or run it at the track? So you running a 468 or a 472 right now?
Yes I had the 100 overs with the 72VGT, the truck dynoed 732/1331, it ran 12.09 @ 114 at the track. I switched to a FPE S468 Billet and made 918/1629 with the same amount of PULSE and TIMING and went 11.37@121. BIG DIFFERENCE THERE......I believe it drives just as good or better than the VGT. I'm currently running and testing a FPE S472 Billet, which made 973/1671.

Dang, so no changes at all to the tuning other than vane codes turned off and picked up almost 200hp just by switching to a 468? Might be trying something else then! I love the Danville 72 but if the s468 spools like the Danville might have a turbo for sale. Lol.

My 467 spools faster than my 72 did... Rode in another locals with a 72 and mine out spools his as well.
Personally, If someone is dead set on a VGT I say the 4094 and rock out at 600-625hp and then when they want more than that, step up to a s467-s472.... Just too much bang for the buck not to. I'm running FPE 467 and LOVE IT, but mark has come out with a s467 as well now that I heard worked well.
The only reason I've been against a fixed turbo is from riding in other vehicles with one. Maybe it was just bad tuning or just wasn't set up right idk I wasn't impressed. But after hearing feedback from you kory, mike, and misner y'all have convinced me it's time for something else. How well would a double batmo s475/87/1.0 perform as a single?
I will be testing a FPE 475 billet here shortly. It should make 1050-1100 with my current setup and no changes to tuning. I would put my current charger up against a double bat S475. My truck is a straight monster on the street!!!

What's the difference in a FPE 475 and a double batmo 475?

I've ran 11.80's at 125mph with my Batmo S475/83/1.0 So I'd say they do ok.
I went 11.37 with a S468 at 6850 lbs!!!

ET's show traction, mph show power. I trapped 125 at 7200lbs. Don't get me wrong, those s468 are bad ass. I'd love to see how you run with that new turbo.
6 in lifted trucks arent very aero just for the record.
