I live north of Baltimore, I first hand witnessed what those animals did to the town .. but guess what they were allowed because the black female mayor ''gave them room to protest'' . I saw home videos of little kids watching their white parents get beat up coming out of an orioles ball game.the first witness talked to about grey was the dude with the tattoo teardrops and gold teeth that said he was throwing himself around beating his head against the walls and shit.. if this was 1968 you would have been clubbed , beaten, cuffed , or shot when those riots happened and no cops would be treated like the bad guy. I saw a video of some loud mouth bitch in sc threatening her teacher and the school cop flipped her desk over then drug her out by her hair and unfortunately you cant do that but you can only take so much bullshit. she wont do it again I bet..

I respectfully agree with Malibu795. First off I live in the Dallas Tx area and work here as well day in day out . While I don't condone the violence on the officers I can see and understand how and why it is happening , I firmly believe we have not seen the end of it but instead the beginning of it . The media reports what is there, in today's day and age of cell phones we are seeing what has been going on for years and years. What can they say now ? Believe me not your lieing eyes! People are fed up and while many take to non violent protests etc there are many out that don't think it works and in there mind set will fight fire with fire . Those of you that disagree with Malibu795 I have a simple question for you, are you a minority ? Have you had to deal with racism personally ? I have a good personal friend that's retired after 25 yrs on the force . He had to deal with the racism an differences in treatment within the force. It's everywhere. Walk a mile in a minority's shoes then tell us what you think . Yes people are tiired of hearing about racism , try living it . I pray for those officers slain and pray for those injured . Things have to change , I believe we are in a back slide loosing ground on the advances we had previously made for equal justice and equality for all . If our government doesn't do a better job of policing themselves there will be many that will try to do it for them .

My dad taught me to be racist, God taught me we are all created equal in His image and I am no longer racist and I pray for my dad to change his ways. I will give you an example of racism being taught. Our son who is 4 years old told a dark skinned African American the other day he needs to put his sunscreen on so he doesn't get burnt. An innocent comment from a 4 year old because he doesn't know skin color is all that is different between any of us and his mom puts sunscreen on him before he goes outside so he doesn't get burnt. People don't know what racism is until it is taught to them by a racist.

and it goes both ways, I have a vendor at work who does aluminum wheel repairs for dealerships, he has MS and he doesn't let that get him down he is uppity and loves people. when he sees someone he always says " hey brother hows it goin'' or ' have a great day brother'' well he said it to a black guy and the guy flipped said " you aint my brotha mother****er you white'' got my friend kicked from the dealership all for being polite.. another pet peeve I hate the label African American , unless your from Africa your just an American like me . there is no label on a job app that I can pick irish American which is where my ancestors are from.

I agree . My dad taught us to treat people as individuals, with that said I can tell you there are good and bad in all races . He taught us not to stereotype. I imagine it's hard to be an officer , but if you don't have the temperment to keep calm in dealing with what's involved in being one they have no business being one . Same can be said for jobs where you deal with people , if you don't like talking and dealing with people on an everyday basis you have no business working a counter or being in sales etc. A little common sense goes a long way but not everybody got there spoonful of it when it was being dished out. I'm racist, I hate every SOB that lives of a working mans taxes, ****s with other people because they read about it or saw it on tv and thought they should be apart of nothing and and are worthless any other day of the week, no matter where they live or what color they are, they should be wiped out all the same.

I have family members who are or have been in law enforcement and have quite a few friends and acquaintances who are law enforcement officers, and as far as I can tell, they are all honest, hard working people just out there trying to do their job the best they can. When anyone is put in a stressful situation requiring split second life and death decisions, there is always a chance to make missteps, and the culture today that glorifies harassing and being combative towards officers does not make it any easier to avoid these tragic mistakes. I have always held the opinion that you should be respectful and compliant with police officers when interacting with them in the process of them doing their job. I believe this to be especially important today. I will not surrender my rights as an American, but if an officer told me I was under arrest, I would begrudgingly comply with any commands he gave me and pray the justice system will work as designed and release me from custody as early as possible. Resisting arrest or causing problems while in custody is a sure fire way to cause yourself more problems, and in most cases I see of people being killed by police, that is what has happened.

I guess what I read about MN and what you did were different. Not that I think what happened was right, but I think it was a tragic misunderstanding where race could have possibly played a role. I can tell you that the path the protesters and activists are taking will not do anything to help the situation. They need to work toward improving their relationship with law enforcement rather than actively trying to drive a wedge between them, inciting violence in their communities, and fostering mistrust on both sides of the issue.

I agree something needs to be done to stop what has been happening, but I think as much as something needs to be done in the police community, something needs to happen to change the way people interact with officers and the attitude some parts of society hold toward them.

Break down of the family is to blame,imho,for most of the problems in the country. Being humble can keep everyone out of more trouble than they think,problem is everyone acts like a loud obnoxious ***** all the time and then cry when they get into it with cops. Sure,bad things happen to innocent people,just like people get hit by drunk drivers,people die in surgery,etc,etc. after having a run in with the law at 14,and it wasn't good,i stay away from b.s.,I'm to busy at WORK,and taking care of my family. And it really makes it worse when all of the misguided youth pick up on the behavior. For the record I am white,and got slammed on the ground by a cop when I was 14,and went to juvenile detention. I wasn't going to post in here since so much has already been said. However, everywhere i went today i heard people giving their opinion on this and up until now i've been silent.

I'll start by saying that I think it is fairly ignorant to assume that any group of people (Cops, Blacks, Whatever) are all good or all bad. I have been harassed by Cops and dealt with thugs and i still feel that way.

I think the real problem is the Politicians. Politicians have an ages long history of creating problems so that they can step in and be the "heroes" to gain power or money. They are doing a darn good job of running this country and turning us all against each other. They now have a strong army of misguided useful idiots who have been brainwashed by the Soros owned media to carry out their biddings. I'm afraid there may be no stopping them now.

Another issue is so many people outside of the useful idiot group just don't care. As long as they have alcohol, vape and social media they don't care what happens (not that there is anything wrong with alcohol).

I'm afraid this is only the beginning. The republican party is a joke and Trump is a moron. They can't stop Hillary who is just plain evil. We are in for a world of hurt. It would be best to be prepared for just about anything at this point.
