Buy genuine gm axles. I went through 2 sets of auto, part store axles within 5k miles. The boots are map way softer than factory gm axles, I ended up buying used gm axles from a salvaged truck.

I have ran in to this a couple times, are the new ones you got new aftermarket or remans the new aftermarket have a little different cup design that will not take the angles as good a gm or the reman cvs do. also the boots are a harder material not as plyable

The last set that blew (on the truck atm), are, or rather were brand new (non remans) from Rock Auto. After I get the front end s**t taken care of, I'll take another look into going that route.. Talking to a couple places I could get AC Delcos for $600-some dollars, at my dads mechanic shop cost, which isn't gonna happen.
