I changed it two weeks ago and i didn't think about cutting it open the magnet didn't seem that bad after being on there for nine months, I forgot about it

You forgot about it! Good thing it isn't BRIGHT RED and with-in a foot of the oil filter! That would be embarrassing!:joker:
