had all kinds of trouble blowing boots off so a buddy of mine just decided to build me a new intercooler and new pipes using vibrant clamps what do you guys think?

Are ya using merchant engine mounts? We had to weld the same clamps to my intercooler. Way better

Hopefully your luck is different, but I've seen a lot of those fabricated tanks blown apart with the boost these trucks see with aftermarket turbo setups. It looks nice though.

We did talk about that. The tanks are 1/8 thick 6061 and I’m only pushing around 80 psi… so we’ll see what happens I guess…
