Cruise control??

Starting my build ideas for my camaro duramax 4l80e manualbody and s366 turbo just to start but had a question looking at electrical today. Will the cruise control work on the 4l80e with a manual valve body. does it go off of rpm like a standard car? just trying to figure it out thanks for the help and yes i will start a thread for the build. going to be just a rough in and drive and complete build when i get back home from afgan.:thumb:

The cruise control works off vehicle speed, and shouldn't care about a manual valve body. I would think it will work just fine.

Depending on which set-up you go with, you will probably use a manual trans engine OS with the 4L80E trans. If you do the ECM won't care what trans is there so long as it gets all of the inputs needed for a manual trans truck to work.

ok sweet thanks going to be my dd next question so i dont start new thread maybe i should just ask mike l but to far away for me who to build the 4l80e so it would last a bit. i know the spags in them are the week points but no room for allision and not enough money for duraflite. so it better work:thumb:
