Okay first off I wanted to say thanks for letting me join your forum!!
Secondly I am having a problem and not exactly who to ask. On Saturday 1-19 I replaced my number 2 glow plug. Of course shortly after doing so and a few laps around the block it cleared my cel on its own. Well ive noticed since I replaced this plug and had in inner fenderwell out on my drivers side my cruise control doesn't work (yes the light is on, on my steering wheel just wont set) and over the past 3 days my "elevated idle" wont come on. I tried to do hold the gas pedal down and press the brake 3 times to just cycle it but it doesn't even show up on my dash? I guess I was wondering if maybe there is a piece of electrical equipment I maybe bumped while putting my fenderwell back in? or if its as simple as something with my break peddle? What is stumping me is that its been 5 degrees at 6am and my "elevated idle" wont kick on?

Blue, If I try going thru my DIC to turn it on, the option its self isn't even there anymore. Im meaning even if I hold the gas pedal down and press the brake pedal 3 times... it doesn't even recognize it? that's what is completely throwing me off.

Really sounds like a brake switch since it won't do the manual setup either. Only thing I think that is weird is the symbol on the dash being on and cruise not working. Symbol shouldn't be there if it thinks the brakes are being pressed

Harbin, I should rephrase a little more... The symbol on the dash IS NOT ON but the light on my steering wheel saying its enabled is on. If you both are thinking its a brake switch, where exactly is it located? is it on the pedal itself? got any pics?
