I seen this about a week ago, and I'm not putting down anyones products. But for what it takes to swap out camshafts on a duramax, i'd have to go with one of 2 things, "You get what you pay for", or it's one hell of a deal being that's it's a 3rd the cost of other duramax camshafts.

a camshaft is a camshaft as had been said by several more knowledgeable members then me, its no more complex then a SBC or any other gasser motor therefore should be no more expensive. Other companies are just getting the most they can out of you because its a "specialty market"

Id be skeptical if it was Joe blow on ebay, but a known company like Crower makes it more comfortable.
I wonder what their using for a pin?

Nice to see they didn't drive the price up just because it's a smaller diesel market. At that price I think I'll stab one in my project. Won't bother me a bit paying 1/3 price.

yea but im sure you could send in your old one and get that money back.

it is strange that the core is actually more then the product itself

Gotta be careful regrinding a stock cam for more lift and duration. They are case hardened and if you get the case too thin.............
