headed out to Baytown to try my luck at the 1/4.

I have a go pro mount on the side of the truck up by the passenger fender and at the top, rear of the cab facing back. Not sure which I am putting the camera on yet but I will take a video.

will probably run around 8-9 tonight after it cools down just a bit. 101deg here now and of course humid as always!

maybe the 16oz shot of NOS will help me out too!!

Damn should of said something sooner. But don't think I would pass tech with my fuel rail hooked up to a 20oz plastic bottle.:thumb: I think I want to wait a month or 2 its just to damn hot anyways.

So how did you do?

Made 2 passes, 1 on the race tune and 1 on the tow tune. Bad news is the race tune ran a 12.3, good news is the "tow"tune ran a 12.3!! Lol.

For some reason I couldn't hold rail for ****, its hot and humid of course burnout holding rail was a bit odd.

Twin cp3 has been powdered and is on stand by, will hopefully be leaving it with joshh soon for some TNG TLC and probably won't run it until the temps get cooler.

The tires were amazing!! Left at 16psi on the first pass and cut a 1.67 and then left on 18psi and cut a 1.65. Extremely smooth and definitely could have left harder!!!

1/8th was a 7.8 on the race tune and 7.7 on the tow tune. A while back I cut a 7.7 with minimal weight reduction and street tires so I was definitely hurting for power tonight.

I'm just impressed with the tow tune!! Probably won't stand on it with a big load anymore knowing what it ran now. Makes me feel guilty...

Bummed about the low 12, but made it home on its own power so it was a good trip to me!

Is that a 12.3 with the 480/366 twins?

Yes sir, like it is in my sig

I was hoping for a 11.9999999999 lol. It did way better a few months ago at the 1/8 with more weight and on 20" nittos cutting a 1.82 60' only leaving at 11psi. This trip to the 1/4 was definitely not how the truck ran in the past. Sucks!!

But it's all good!! It might be as simple as a dirty fuel filter, could have picked up some trash at one of the stations on the trip to Colorado.
