Someone needs to figure out how to lock in shifting. I'd pay good money for that. I think I should have stayed longer and got a few more passes in to see if shifting got better. But the wife was ready to go. Even tried to get her to run the truck. No go.

As in not constantly learn so if you DD your truck then go to the track you aren't making crappy passes till it relearns how to shift again. So lock in the shifts you want.

Only run your truck in tow haul and drive in normal mode and it will work just fine. Stop spinning the tires as well and a lot of your problems will go away

I need to figure out the tire situation. The Mich are brand new. But looks like I'll be trying to find something that will stick better. What's sad is that all new tires is gonna be the cheapest mod. Ha ha.

So toyo doesn't make proxies that will fit falken seems to not have any sticky tires. Wanting to stick with pyos due to weight and cost. I'm at a loss. Are there no sport tires for a dang 16"rim that will get me out of the hole without spinning so easy?

Btw no every manufacturer that used to make a 265/75/16 or 275/70/16 still makes them. Pretty shitty but it is what it is

I watched all your passes disposablehero. You need to get it data logged and see whats going on. Passes were clean I must say. Find you another set of pyos and get you a set of M&H 275/55r16 radials and mount them on the pyos.

Got a set coming. Buying from lwatson. I'm pumped. The shifting had to be my most frustrating part. I know the tires suck but it not shifting was beyond frustrating. My passes looked good cuz the other guys were so slow. Ha ha. What were you in? Dang. Wish I would have know. Only people I knew there were either running the event or in gassers. A guy I work with was in that 94 cobra that was a freak of nature. Street legal 9 sec car that spins half the track. Ha. I didn't even stay long enough to talk to boney from Clovis.

If you can get me a log of it, if you took any, i'll be glad to double check and make sure I don't have anything wrong. To me it sounds like the tune was doing what it was supposed to though in terms of RPMs. Might make the truck fall on it's face, but better than fully fueling it to 4000+ on stock top and bottom end (if I remember mods correctly)... no sense popping a valve spring or smacking a piston because the tires are spinning and trans wont shift - I'd much rather it cut the fuel out until the trans is ready to go. Doesn't make for the happiest passes, but I can't tune out spinning unless you want to have REALLY bad 60 foots :D

Lol. I have drag radials coming. Called the shop Monday but I'm sure you spend most of the week catching up from the weekend warriors sending hundreds of emails. I'll try and get a log sometime this week. Wanted to know what all you needed to see. We are on the first version you sent me. The shifting hates me right now though. I know you tuned her safe for me. So I wasn't expecting a low low number. But know there was more in it.

I do need a couple of things adjusted in the tune. I forgot to mention my grid heater is deleted and no low coolant sensor so I have the warning on the dic.
