It is NOT 105. No no no! I have no idea where you got that number, but please forget it right now.

You'll be snapping a pin and losing a balancer (and who knows what else) torquing it to 105.

I still have the 3/4" HF breaker bar from when I did my water pump years ago. Broke so many 1/2 bars it wasnt funny.

The LB7 one I removed was installed by the hand of God... Had to use a 3/4 gun and 150 psi of service truck air... I'm with Tom, no f-ing way it was only 105 ftlbs.

Got it haha thanks for the info. You said it was 260 on all data, I figure that was more like it my Mac impact isn't no pooch. We had one other one there an didn't budge it with the other impact.

All I found for LML is:

Crankshaft Balancer Bolt

1st Step: 100 N·m / 74 lb ft
2nd Step: 90 degrees

I hate that GM uses angles.

Considering the correct torque is 74ft lbs, then 105*, you might want to start over

I think he was referring to 105* not pounds.

Just give it hell with a breaker bar. But you won't be tightening it now since the loctite set. Unless you want to take it off and start over.

Oh sorry that wasn't you that started the thread. I just put blue on it. Wouldn't do red. But it isn't necessary.

I may do it still trying to find a way to lock the flywheel to get the balancer torqued.
Where you located? If you don't feel like taking the starter out I can send you the locking tool. Or just buy one I think it's 45$
