LBZ block have full thickness main webs vs parshel/nexted down main webs when compared to the main journal width

here is a pick of my LB7 block
as you fallow the journal suppor toward the cam the main web gets smaller/necks down.

the LBZ block (dont have a picture) is thicker/to almost the same thickness as the journal thickness onthe web... minus were the piston travels.

main web- is the metal between the block side, cylinders, support crank and cam journals.(perpendicualr to the crank axis)
each main bearing cam is bolted to a web. this runs form the bottom of the block all the way up.
