They are balanced different. What are you specifically looking for? If you run one you have to run the LBZ flywheel/flexplate and harmonic balancer.

Measurements from the center of the crank to the outside of all the counterbalance weights and from the center of the crank to the center of the connecting rod part of the crank are what I think he needs.;)

For the center of crank to outside of the counterweight I got a rough measurement of about 3.375" or 85.7 mm. Center crank journal to center rod journal is half the stroke which is 3.90" or 99 mm.

The stroke is the same. I'm not sure about the outside diameter of the counterweights. The measurements I gave are for an LBZ crank.

I think the block is supposed to be beefed up a little, but I don't know if the crank is stronger or not.

You lost me on the red dragon thing

Oh, those measurements are taken exactly opposite of the connecting rod journal.

Haha, I love that radio show. I haven't been able to listen to it since my truck has been down.

IIRC The OD of a LBZ crank is .200" smaller then an LB7/LLY crank. You need to machine the bottom of a LBZ pistons to use it with a LB7/LLY crank.

So Simon.
Dude is it gay if your crank hits pistons?
Would it be OK if they where Carbon Fiber?

Bottom of wrist pin boss on an LBZ piston is .3" thick. An LB7 is .23" thick.

Ya apperently im the proud owner of a set of lbz pistons:D

I will machine off 50 thou from the bottom of the piston

Arias is aware of this and has allready rectified the issue,However i dont want to send them back and will just do the work locally

LBZ block have full thickness main webs vs parshel/nexted down main webs when compared to the main journal width
