You send them 14k and they claim they will ship you the truck to your door for free. If you dont like the truck they will have it picked up and it cost you nothing and you get a full refund. How can you lose? The problem is the truck in the pic is just a pic of a random truck. You send them 14k and never hear from them again and no truck.

they go through a whole song and dance, got a relative that has one free ship of a vehicle but you need to front some fees and so on and so forth can end up with a few hundred bucks to thousands depending on how gullible the potential buyer is, always ask to meet in person they will shrivel up and go away. Worst one I ever saw was a guy selling his supposed deceased sons mini excavator said he was killed in action...was all a crock, man that burned me up!!!

I helped a friend research an 07 LBZ from Craigslist. They wanted to run the sell through Ebay and sent an ebay invoice. The invoice had an invoice number instead of an item number and thats what through up the red flag. It ended up being a fake invoice. They claimed they wanted to run it through ebay to take advantage of there buyer/seller protection.

Got the same song and dance when I tried selling a couple things on Craigs.

It can be a bitch. I had my truck listed for 8 days, had 11 offers that I'm 100% certain were scammers.... 2 legit people who actually called me, not emailed, and sold it on the 8th day.

It does have some use but it can be a pain in the ass too.

Somehow I got on every scam list in the world-- I get about 10 a day-- most are put in the scam folder by AOL. Win lotterys and never enter, inhertance of 10 mil, bank accounts needs updating on a bank I never use, and etc. Click the attachment-!

I guess it beats working for a living.

Long time ago, I stroked a scam guy for a month-- emails back and forth-- when time to send in the $$, I wrote-- "Got picked by the CIA and they arrested me, had your name, and coming for you"-! Ha Ha
