I haven't seen that set yet. The ones I have seen pictures of are on Shawn's truck and Zach's....some friends of his. They were not made of 11ga SS and used cheap bellows and thinner flanges.

My mistake - I guess they are no longer friends and are now competitors?? lol

The headers in question are made by a new outfit called MAXX Performance?

Hello "Tim" or should I say big mouth get your facts straight.....the "headers" in question are not headers at all they are log style manifolds... And never were for sale or ever mentioned for sale many people asked but ...they were never listed for sale the set was one off and most likely will not ever be reproduced... they have been on Shawns truck for over a year with no issues so get off your hi horse..as far as the stainless it is 11ga except for the bends and the bellows are from f1 systems you think they will fail? I dont know you or care to but if you have issues with me or my work feel free to call me ill pm you my number....buy the way the log style manifolds pictured above were built by romeo fab for ht performance
These are the ones you are on your high horse about :D

Hey, how's it going? I was just reposting what was said about them by your customers on FB. I can quote it if you'd like...

Edit: and by no means am I saying you do shitty work WhyTry, myself and Jason and Tim Hecker all offered constructive advice in that conversation too...but your customers would have nothing of it.. which is fine..

"This set was made with 16 gauge and has held up great at 550 hp"

Later on Dutton from custom auto replies,
"I made a set using the same material that was used at the DPC (Jeremy Pierce)...but eventually cracked"

Let me ask you a question, since yours look so much like mine, why did you put a bellows in the center? How long have you been making these? What led you to that design, and how did you come up with your tubing sizes?

Rick these headers are not for sale... I am Not trying to build something you already have and then sell them!!!!they were a one off set that was built for a friend....as far as diameter of tubing its 2inch and thickness the elbows are 16ga and the straight is 11ga I did this mainly because the 16 is easier to machine...as far as the bellows i have been around alot of sprint car headers, and no what ss does under high temps so that experiance told me they needed some type of expansion area.. i am not the craigslist seller listed above and AGAIN I am not selling Headers I have alot of moneyand time in that project and have alot of respect for what you do...
