Has anyone encountered something like this before? Found this when changing pedestals on my turbo last night.

This has a little less than 15k miles on it, been run on a built motor, about 500 miles ago I got it back from Danville for having a billet wheel installed.

Highest EGT's it ever saw was probably 1,400-1,500 intermittently at WOT. Run with an LML manifold, LB7 PS up-pipe, etc. No deforming or issues or cracks in any of the manifold piping/up pipes.

Is this reasonably repairable?

I've seen divided s300 turbine housings do that. If it's not leaking externally I'd just run it. Performance of the turbo should not be affected.

X2 , thats one of the main reasons HTT did there stainless housings . And agree it wont hurt anything to leave it , I personally would be more worried about welding it and the weld lasting on the cast than leaving it alone .
