Cracked lml pistons

Wondering if anyone has seen this on a regular basis. Truck has 260xxx miles. Emissions deleted for the last 100xxx miles with an h&s set on tow. It lives in front of a fairly large enclosed trailer. I did head gaskets on it 10k miles ago and everything looked good. 3 of the 4 pistons on the passenger side have some degree of cracking. With number one being the reason I pulled it down.

Hs tuning seems to cause a lot of failures from what I've seen

I have seen this a couple times locally on higher mileage LML's.

Not that many at once though.

Got the drivers side apart now. All 4 on that side have small cracks.
It does not seem to have excessive cylinder wear but there is a lot of piston to wall clearance. Not sure if that can have an effect

You can't go by what you see at the crown

True but I can move the piston up/down/side to side more than I recall being able to on the last one I was into. But it's been a few years, could be normal
