Guessing this is the reason shimmed reliefs are preferred over race plugs? Or no?

shimmed reliefs are still unpredictable, since the spring still weakens over time. I know that a couple companies offer custom relief valves for this reason, but it would be nice for a fuel system specialist to design them and sell them so that we could "trust" them a little more

Wherli. And I'm not to happy with the quality atall either. After waiting for ever for a feed line, I got one that rubbed multiple existing lines. Had to rebend it by hand trial and error till I was happy with it. Ended up having to cut off the left rear bolt ear off my ac for it to clear everything. And the rail fitting was another mating pitch originally, redrilled to seal for the hard line.

I saw a check ball on the shaft that's prolly 1/16 right on the side of the injector. There's also another hole in the arm that comes out with fuel inlet. Visually that 1/16 check ball don't look cracked. Ima call exergy today and see what they say. If I was to guess I would say ill need to send it to Louisville diesel injection service to have it fixed soon enough for my next pull. Only gonna do that if exergy thinks that's fine, or they won't fix it for a discounted price.
