The Smith truck is not a street truck though unless you read the magazines.
I imagine an RC Dodge with no cage is pretty light, perhaps 5000 before fuel and driver? but still, that's flying.
Pro street trucks aren't street trucks even with tags
A Dodge is heavier than a Chevy/GMC, maybe 5800-6000lbs

I named those two so it was clear what class I was talking about. I didn't know for sure if the class was called pro street or what. I don't keep up with drag racing in general and had no idea how fast those two in particular had run. I have seen them run and seemingly half the time they are fighting to keep it off the wall or outta the other lane.

Just amazing this street truck did what the dedicated trucks struggle at doing. Just impressive is what I'm tryin to say. ;)
i wasnt trying to slam you just giving more info...truck did look good doing it know just has to be able to keep doing it.i can tell you the slight rasttle nois at half track isnt good.

i have at various times owned similar configured dmaxes psds and ctd and on certified scales found never more than very modest differences...

The original ProStreet rules called for them to be real street trucks. Instead of moving the trucks up a class when they went outside the rules, they changed the rules instead.

I stand corrected. An RC 4x4 Dmax is ~5800 as delivered. The EC is 6000.
I am probably thinking about 1/2t Dodges. My bad. I doubt they could remove 800lb.

So far I have killed a 100% stock motor with an economy tune on 99% of the time (DSP 5), I have killed 3 trannies, all on different trucks, I managed to kill a Gasser ECM trying to load a tune in it, and a LB7 turbo. Otherwise things are going good.

So how are you on bowling balls?:D
