LBZ: cp3 gear help

I have gotten the pump out and got a puller on the gear. I have got a real bind on it. I've heated it, pounded it and threw it across the garage and nothing helps. Can someone help me.

You did take the nut off right? I take two screwdrivers an wedge/hammer them behind the gear and it pops right off.

Lol. The nut is off and it ain't moving. the gear is arched up on either side and it still wont come off.

I sure don't want to break the gear.

Take an air hammer with the big blint end and hit either side of the gear right next to the shaft with good tention on the puller. Should pop it

Sucks for me. Does any body know where i can get a gear.

Make sure you torque it down to the right specs. I cracked mine putting it back on.
