TX of course
Strokers are reliable. Might not be as reliable as a stocker, but that has yet to be seen.

A 10mm will fuel enough to be well in to the 800s.

The reliability has improved greatly over the years. I wouldn't worry about running one.

That's good to know, I've just read lots of stuff about strokers not being very reliable. Maybe I will just go with a 10mm exergy.

I have a hard time believing most stock lbz+ pumps are making much over 600hp. Maybe more lb7 & lly since they are more forgiving to low RP. I ment the sportsmen is 6% over the lbz. I forget not all generations are equal.

Mine has a stock 168k mile pump and its way over 600rwhp. You cant put a number on such things, too many other variables factor in.

When stroker pumps first came out There was some reliability issues with them, but I believe most of it was due to Bosch switching to ceramic balls in the new LBZ pumps that were breaking and destroying pumps. Since they went back to the steel balls in them they are pretty reliable. I have 2 Exergy pumps on my puller for 3 years with zero issues.

I think I've got around 50k miles on my 10mm stroker.. Perfect still, so I wouldn't worry about it personally.. Just get a exergy or some well known one if you go that route..

I'm still running on the original 12mm Exergy cp3 from 3.5yrs ago without a single issue! It has well over 100+ dyno runs along with a ton of passes at the track and my daily driving miles in that time frame also. I prefer a single pump to dual pumps any day of the week!
