there should be some current to that wire, the amount depends on the pressure switch reading as said before. if you have nothing then you need to view the diagram above find the terminals at the ecm and ohm the wire from the ecm plug to the jumper plug near the intake tube. i am thinking though never tested that the ecm will default to a set parameter to limp the truck if it loses a determining factor in delivering reg current. meaning i dont think the ecm will just cut the signal from the it to the reg because it lost another input. the "purple/white" wire from the above diagram is actually brown/white. i had a squirrel eat my engine harness last week
