wonder if you can delete the stocker... and use a belt driven CP3.4 as the only pump? You know, mounted up like a dual CP3 except it's just a single with the stocker out of there???

Just thinking as I've heard they won't fit in the valley.

I have not been able to find a part no. either. I've also tried to find it's OE application and drew a blank there as well. :(

that new twin front drive unit kieth showed us from curtis is for CP3.4 's

Isn't a CP3.4 like a reg CP3 but with one more chamber/piston? 4 instead of 3?

The single belt driven cp3.4 might be a good idea if it equals or betters twin reg cp3's
I think i remember the GBE truck runs a CP3.4 and in stock location?:cool2:

It is used on large displacement MAN trucks in Germany?

It has to have external oiling.

It will not fit a Dmax easily.

Banks gave up on it, and wouldn't say why.

Heck, just mod it ur self and save some $$$, unless theres more to a modded CP3 than cutting the FCA slide and moding the gear pump? Can anyone elaborate?

also: Brayden is workin on a wicked FCA!

I am sure there is stuff that can be done to the gears

Hmmm, I wonder if a new pump housing with bigger gears could be done?
When i modded mine i couldn't see any room for gear mods but i did some more invasive porting on the gear pump cover and housing. I also releifed the 4 FCA holes a little too. I bet some work can be done on the rest of the pump but i'd be scared to mess with the business end of one!

Adam, i bet it wouldn't be too bad to fab bracketry up for a belt driven CP3.4
theres plenty of room where dual fuelers usually go. An oil line to it should be cheese! Only real concern i see, Was said GBE gave up on it. WHY? What could possibly be so differant? Maybe controling it? IDK?
