Question: Cowl Clearance with a Twisted Pedestal and Large S400

Does anyone have any experience with the Wagler twisted pedestal and an S480 T4 and whether it will clear the cowl on an 01-07 truck?

From what I've found most guys are using a 5.5" tall pedestal with an S480 in the valley. Twisted pedestal is 7" tall. Does the angle of the twisted pedestal give enough extra room that it will clear?

I have an S472sxe with the twisted pedestal and everything clears just fine. Down pipe is a tight squeeze though.

Friend of mine is running a standard S400 pedestal with a S480/96 t4 with a a v2 race cover and his clears fine.

You should only need a 5.5" pedestal to run a t6 s400.

You'll be fine. I have a s472 on my wagler pedestal now. But had a gtx4508r on it before.
