Hey fellas i got a couple questions. First i have a htt turbo and efi live . i am gettin ready for a trip to california in three weeks . i will be towing a 48 foot goosneck that will be close to 10 ton. It tows fine however i am gettin about 10-12 mpg with this. Does this sound about right and also would i benefit from another tranny cooler or is it a waste of money. I have a suncoast stage four or will i be fine with what i have. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like pretty good mileage for that kinda weight. One thing you could do is optimize timing. Boost is Dependant on fuel. If you do the same work with less boost and low to no black smoke and no extra noise, I feel timing is optimal.

I think cooler is better no matter what. Mike L. offers a big trans cooler that makes a difference. If you tow a lot stop light to stop light or in town, you better look into something for sure. On the highway is another thing, watch the temps while pulling for sure, if they rise and don't lower pretty quick, you may need one for sure. Call Mike L and get some advice before you leave on the trip.
