I am getting close to actually starting my truck toy but have a couple of questions before it happens.

I am working on wiring up the battery and was wondering if a 4 gauge wire would be big enough of a wire to run too the fuse box?

Has anyone removed the glow plug relay or is it needed for some sort of feed back for the truck to operate properly?

I would run 2/0 if it is a long cable.

I have no idea on the glow plug stuff.

I believe when my glow plug controller was burnt out it didn't trip any codes, but you should be able to turn off any codes with efi live if it does. Some of the newer stuff, I believe 03 and up has a light on the dash that will light up.

I removed my glow plug assembly entirely, and even removed them from my harness. IIRC P0380 will pop up, EFI can turn it off. I also put in plug deletes.

Does anyone know if I could run the fuse box power off of the jump box that normally mounts on the drivers side above the power steering pump or am I'm best to run it off of the battery directly?
