Ive never used feeler guages on all the ones I built and they work fine.
well, last one i put c5's in upside down, but then quickly pulled the tailshaft housing, flipped them around, and now she works like a champ.
haha yes everyone makes mistakes, and that is why when in doubt if something feels wrong, check it! but on suncoast kits especially the III's you dont really have to worry.
mine should be the same as a suncoast 4, but i think i need to put that one C2 clutch and steel back in that i took out for clearence.
What kind of clutches did you use? I havent been up to speed on what has all happened with your build.
alto red eagle and kolene steels

Alto does not make a kit for your Alli.
So how many times has the trans been out?
. i think its hittin a trailer to go to del-trans
I think that would be best
i dont, i dont have any money
So how did all this shit start? You bought an Alto power-pack for an '01-'05, which by the way is not even a Suncoast 3 kit, then you try to install it into an '06? The shop you are towing it to better be very sharp because they are likely to miss some of the things you did wrong. If they don't know what the sub assemblies are suppose to look like they won't catch some things. Good luck and I hope they get you on the road soon.

Deltrans is a good shop, The owner is very smart,Alittle new to the Ally builds with what converters to use they tried to get me to switch to a single disc converter and said it would save 45lb of spinning weight, but will only hold 900lb of tq im over that, heres info on owner Mike you might even know him Ed Lee is a Sonnax Technical Specialist who focuses on issues of interest to torque converter rebuilders. He was the owner/operator of Deltrans Inc
