I bought a Mac 1/2" (runs dewalt batteries) and I love it. I can change 8-12 tires on a battery and it works awesome. I also love my dewalt driver 20V system! Batteries and chargers interchange and Dewalt just released the 20V 1/2" impact as well. :thumb:

Just picked up a 14.4v Snap-On 3/8 impact, ratchet, and flashlight. Got a smokin deal on them brand new. That "little" impact is a beast!

i have a snap on 18V 1/2 impact gun, the only thing it has ever struggled to take off was a front bumper bolt, where it sheered the end off a snap on 1/2" extension..... my dealer pulled a lug nut off his kenwroth truck to make a point. my 20V dewalt impact 3/8 is pretty impressive as well, but im not sure i would rely in it for tires or suspension work, great for smaller stuff though, and the battery lasts months with daily use. the snap on one hardly ever needs a charge, though i dont use that one for work, just for play :D

I put one of these on my Christmas list! Anyone used or have one? any good?

me too, I just did a quick search for cordless impacts and Milwaukee offers two. The 1/2 inch drive unit (p/n 2663-80) offered with the 3/8 drive and work light is not as robust as their model 2763-22. With that said, you get the 1/2 drive, a 3/8 drive a work light, two batteries, charger and case for the price of the heavier 1100 ft/lb model. They also offer a 3/4 drive.

I have been searching for a cordless that will break the lug nuts loose on my '56 C6500. Time for a good test as they have laughed at everything to date.

We tested our Kobalt 1/2 against a Milwaukee Fuel 1/2 removing the bits in our tub grinder. The Kobalt ate the Fuel alive on the 1 setting, but on the 2 setting the Fuel ate the Kobalt's lunch. The Kobalt was considerably cheaper than the Fuel though. So I guess if you need more power, you're going to pay more as usual.

The snap on impact has no problem taking big truck lugs off. It is high tho..

Snap On 18V 1/2 impact.. worth its weight in GOLD.. thing is a BRUTE and can go almost an entire weekend of swapping wheels around on my race car (Sat/Sun, probably 4-5 tire swaps) and not need a battery swap.

Pulls my truck lug nuts off without a hiccup. Its expensive, but worth every penny. Been using it non stop for the last 4 years

I have multiple snap on guns and they're awesome. Selling my 3/8" 14v impact since I never use it.
