I was trying to get a 761 off the truck then the oilfield went bust over here and the truck quit coming
I'm assuming because they don't have any to sell, that was always the trouble, if it wasn't on the truck it was a long long wait to get it.
As I understand it Snap-On Dealers have an inventory limit that is relative to sales. At our old location the dealers had to much driving in their route and were rather sporadic. We'd have one for 2 years then Snap-On would say, "Your not selling enough!" and they'd get the boot, then we'd be stuck with out for 3 yrs. Thankfully at our new location the dealer has about 350 shops within a 10mi radius and his service is really good. It normally take 1-2 weeks for something to show up after its ordered. Just saying...not all Snap-On dealers have to wait so long to get their tools. He had 3 of those CT761 on Friday and he makes good cash deals:thumb:
Well, it's done. Ordered the Milwaukee Fuel 2796-23 combo. 1/2", 3/8" and work light with (2) 4.0 battery's. Can't wait to use them.
Used the 1/2 Impact today for the first time switching wheels on one of my super duty's, Worked great! 32 lugs later the battery was still registering full and it didn't seem like it was working hard at all to bust the lugs loose :thumb: My only complaint is now I've become obsessed with buying milwaukee tools lol, ordered my 5th piece today
Received mine and charged them immediately. Wish I would have bought these a long time ago. I've already noticed I don't use as many hand tools. They're just to easy to use.
Use my 3/8 dewalt every single day, no complaints. Have a craftsman 1/2" but i wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Matco makes a badass set of guns. The 1/2" air one will snap studs turned all the way up but it runs around 450$ the battery one is around 800$.
I've got the IR ti air gun and it really is awesome. My dad has the same IR air impact gun he has used since the mid 70s. It still works, just less power than my new one.
