Coolant leak

Just get an OE gasket, they changed their design on them....Had the same thing happen to mine at a race.

assuming it was never changed before i bought it 199k. lol

So im guessing ill just go back with new stock gaskets.

yeah im just hoping i can lift/wiggle my big 400 downpipe around enough in there to get at the plate.

I would agree, sounds like a good plan.

I have this same leak. Not on the top of the motor, but off the back, down the trans. Can't see where its coming from, but this is good info! :thumb:

Does anyone have a pic or diagram to show where I should be looking for this leak??

Does anybody know the measurements of the bolts for that plate? Also, what is the torque spec on those bolts? Thanks.

That's a huge rip off. Just pull the bellhop using bolt off and put 3-4 washers on. That's the cheapest fix.
