Hi all, I have an lbz with a coolant leak in the back of the passenger side head. From what I can tell the valley is dry, and it seems to be coming directly from the head gasket itself, however these were done 30k ago. Sometimes I get no leak, sometimes a few drops, last night was a decent puddle that ran down my exhaust. When I put an allen wrench on the bolts I could hand tighten them without much force a bit more, and I am wondering if they just need re torqued down. Does anyone know the torque specs for these? I bought the truck recently and have put 5k miles on it but getting ready for a big trip and worry I am losing head gaskets. By the way the upper rad pipe is never pressurized the next morning and is easy to squeeze.

Check heater core lines that are above it. Allan head bolts have nothing to do with sealing coolant.

And we have a winner. I knew the head studs were inside, but yes that leak is coming from the heater core line, thank god!

You can see in the quick video the amount of gunk on my heads, for this being done 30k ago it is surprising, other head on drivers side looks good. The allen bolts were the sludge is were seemingly loose, so I hand tighten with an allen wrench. Anything to be concerned about?
