It would hardly turn over Larry.It was like the battery was dead. Coolant doesn't like to compress that easy. I'm lucky I didn't bend a rod.

Sweet, I ment that usually when there is a headgasket problem, even after the truck cools down, or if you let it run just long enough to build pressure, but not heat, the hose will remain solid for a long time. Unlike when the hose becomes solid from operating temp and then once it cools down the hose becomes squeezable.
