Coolant Filtration?

What sizes are the the heater hoses and the line connecting the radiator to the overflow tank?

Got the hose sizes, but having a bugger of a time finding a 5/8*5/8*3/8 tee.

I have a detroit setup somewhere. the filters have additives that are designed to break down and neutralize certain situations that can cause damage to the motor over time. designed for making the coolant life extend out for a very long time!

The filters for pickups don't run the additives. Not sure why, but when I was looking for filters at the local big truck repair shop, they could not cross reference the original Baldwin filter that came with the kit. Had to finally go to auto parts store to finally find one that would fit.

Got it installed. Went really well. Filter was hot-good. Also, I flushed out the heater core in the process. We will have to see what it does.

Can you show some pictures of your filter installed and where it T's into?

pics of mine, but no pic where it tee's into coolant lines. I tapped it right in front of fire wall.

Is it possible to use a compression tester to check coolant pressure? Or would that ruin the compression tester?
