I have a leaker. I’m driving home from getting the merchant plate from XDP. Has anyone swapped them without pulling the downpipe? (I have a profab). It looked like it might swap but might not without the downpipe out of the way.
You might be able to wrestle it out without removing the down pipe. Never tried, installed both mine during engine builds. Removing the one bell housing bolt will help you out a lot.
Thanks. I wound up loosening the downpipe and scooting it over just a touch. Then pulled the one bolt you mentioned. It gave me enough room to swap the cover plate. :thumb:
