LMM: Coolant adapter plate

Coolant started pouring onto the ground, got it on a lift and saw it was coming from the adapter plate. Replaced gasket and still leaking. Am I missing something here? Am I suppose to put rtv or some type of sealant? Any help would be appreciated.



New here, so if I'm doing something incorrect please inform me.

You talking on the passenger side of rear cover? I had that issue. Made a solid gasket. It got me by tell I ordered a dhd oring one

On the passenger side, the small adapter plate. Metal gasket.

I went to parts store. Bought a roll of gasket material. Made it a solid piece.
I kept blowing out the thin sides. Tried 3 differant ones.
