the 1057 does not like heat while being on the line... ask Russ i think he went though 3 1057's because he liked staying on the line to cut a good light. I wasted mine, another local kid has wasted 2. Not sure if Rob's is wasted or not, i don't see how the fins are still brazed over but some get lucky Kat's is still kicking. My 1057 still helped me run many 12.3's
