Converter choice. Some help would be appreciated.

Going off what Tony has listed online the Goerend E has a 1800 stall with billet stator, Goerend J has a 2800 stall with billet stator, Goerend Q has a 3000 stall with billet stator. That's all he's got listed though.

I have a Gorend with a Billet Stator. I believe it's the X, it foot brakes to 2100 no problem, starts to walk through the brakes at 2,2XX. It DDs very well and sees a lot of boosted launches with no issues.

All my tuning so far has been thru motor ops

Steve is very good at what he does plus he isn't far away if there is an issue. I was looking at the billet 68 mm stage 2r because it appears to have very good potential. Very fast spooling and keeps me in my pulling class since we can't run twins around here
