oops. Ive reused mine 5 times now and one of them is a stock GM bolt cut down some.

I guess ill stockpile some new ones.

I know they are hard to come by so i would just get them from mike or suncoast or if they direct you to their suppliers.

I have the part number around here somewhere for the gold allison ones. 1.75 a piece IIRC.

just ask them for the gold converter bolts for an allison 1000/2000. They will know what you are talking about.

These gold bolts are good to use with suncoast and precision converters?

I used the bolts that came with my SC converter four times before I decided to get new ones and when I went to the local Advanced Auto store I happened to find a box of GM converter bolts and guess what. Same numbers and markings on the head, same length, same thread, same size head, and even had lok tight on the threads already....$1.99 per box.
The only catch... four bolts per package.

Thanks guys! Had one break off in the TC this weekend. They had been reused a few times themselves I believe. At least this once.

Is the proper torque on these 45ft-lbs? I think that was what got it... driving them in with impact and went one click too many. Really crappy part was this was about 5AM after working on it all night in preparations for a pull the next day. Decided to try it with 5 bolts anyways but other things prohibited him from hooking. Not been good times lately. Fighting other elec. gremlins now.

I saw those the other day, haven't used those yet though.
